Meet Our Founder
Abigail Klein
From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a business owner, I just didn’t know what kind of business it would be until high school. In 2020, my love for baking truly took shape when I joined more than 40 livestream baking and decorating classes. I gave all the sweets to friends and family, and soon their excitement turned into requests for custom orders. That was the moment Abby’s Cake Creations was born. For over four years I created custom cakes and cookies and attended farmers markets and pop-ups throughout the community.
In pursuit of my dream, I moved to Colorado to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. There, I not only learned the technical skills of bread, pastry, and cake design, but also met incredible mentors and friends who encouraged me in ways I never could have imagined. In 2025, I graduated with an Associate Degree in Baking & Pastry Arts, more certain than ever that this was my calling.
Barn & Batch is the natural evolution of that journey. A bakehouse and coffee shop that brings together my passion for baking, signature coffee, my love of people, and my long-time dream of owning a business. Every loaf, cookie, and cake is a piece of that story, and when you think of Barn & Batch, I hope you feel the heart and intention that has been baked in from the very beginning.
